Reset My Fear
Yesterday we left you with a question: What have I done with what I’ve heard from Jesus?
For a lot of us, one of the biggest things that keep us from following Jesus is fear. Fear can leave us feeling paralyzed and choked. Fear keeps us from acting, saying, “Actually, my way is better,” and pushes Jesus away.
Today we’re going to be reminded of whom we’re following. Jesus has authority over nature, over demons, over sickness, and over death. And in each instance, Jesus is showing us He is greater than our fears.
Read today’s passage and see the fear present in each story. Then watch how Jesus shows Himself to be greater than any fear we could ever face. We may face fear, but Jesus is greater. He can reset our fear.
