Gideon was empowered by God to save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. When God called Gideon, he told him to “Go in this strength of yours.” (Judges 6:14) Gideon was empowered to do great things but hesitated his ability thus continuously asking God to confirm his call on his life. This might sound familiar to you, but even though you might feel like you don’t have the strength to carry out God’s plan, God knows what he has equipped you with. It’s natural to question the unique call God has for your life, but understand you are already empowered to complete the dynamic works God has prepared in advance for you to do. Has God commanded you to fulfill the call he has on your life but you doubt your strength? Has God called you to be a leader but you doubt your ability to lead? Has God called you to focus on him and not your material possessions? Are there some people in your life that God said couldn’t go to the destined place he has for you that you need to respectfully dismiss? Whatever God called you to do, know that you are empowered and equipped to complete the task! Be encouraged!! Praise God for empowering you to follow his will for your life!
