God has spoken to many people throughout history in many different ways, but did you know that God has a message for you? God actually sent a super-specific messenger to you! Pretty wild, huh? That messenger's name is Jesus, and his message can change everything for you and your life. Maybe it already has! That is why reading the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) in the Bible are so incredibly important for us today, because these books contain his words, his message to us.
Jesus wasn't simply a messenger with words, though. Jesus was a messenger whose actions backed up his message. Jesus came to earth with a radical message of love. He taught us about love with his words and then showed us what it means to love by sacrificing his own life on our behalf so we could be healed and made whole. Jesus' life was filled with moments of selflessness and holding others in higher regard than himself.
