Moving Forward When It’s Been a Long Time Sample

We need Spirit-empowered sight. Simeon encountered Jesus and declared that he had seen salvation! Simeon beheld salvation before he saw Jesus teach, the gathering of masses, the sick healed, the thousands fed, and the cross. Full of zeal, Simeon held a baby and declared the glory of the Lord resting upon Him. Spirit-led sight gives us the ability to see beyond the moment or season to the plans and purposes of God that are yet to come to pass. Simeon is an example of the generations of believers who saw the salvation of the Lord and saw the divine possibilities being outworked.  Throughout the Bible, we see so many who “by faith” inherited the promises of God because of Spirit-empowered sight. What can you see in the distance that is in seed form now that with the breath of heaven resembles the divine? In God’s sight, there are no small things, because “the end is as firm as the beginning.” Hold onto what God has revealed.
