Better, Worse, Equal Even though few societies have the rigidity of a caste system, there are still clearly layers and levels of position and influence, except in Christ's Church. The Apostle Paul reminds us that since we all came from a same position of sin, and benefited from the same amazing grace of God, we share a common status of the redeemed in his amazing, diverse, but equal family. Now that's something to shout and sing about! Prayer: Father God, in your church you've accomplished the impossible - bringing equality to a world system determined to classify and separate and judge people on shallow differences. Thank you. Help me to see my fellow church members in this light: as pilgrim companions sharing a common grace and common goal of serving you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
