First Priority EPIC Stories Leader Guide

DAY 13 OF 48

LEADER TIPS

Have someone welcome, pray, watch the video, read the verses, lead conversation questions, and pray for your group.

You can also lead a game or ice breaker if you would like.

Today is all about equipping everyone to have conversations about their faith. So create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to do that.

Get in smaller groups of 3-5 if you need to.

WELCOME

Welcome to First Priority. Each month we go through a four week strategy called EPIC. This month's topic is the Story of God's Patience. Today is Equip Week where we are having conversations about our faith.

PRAY

Invite God into the room.

WATCH

Watch the video  together.

READ

Read the Bible verses together.

CONVERSATION QUESTIONS

1. What is a pet peeve you have?

2. Have you ever gotten mad because someone you cared about was mistreated?

3. Have you ever mistreated someone because you were angry? Share more if you want to.

4. How do you think your anger affects those who are closest to you? Share more if you want to.

5. How do you think the concept that God is slow to anger could impact your relationship with Him?

6. As leaders, how can you make a difference this week by being slow to anger?

PRAY OUT

Ask if anyone has prayer requests and then pray for the group.
