Bible Explorer for the Young (Jeremiah - Part 2)Sample

God’s Plans for Me
Jeremiah 29:11
I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future.
Jeremiah wrote a letter to God’s people who were under Babylon’s captivity, reminding them that although they were not where they expected to be, God had not forgotten them. Even amidst the hard situation, God’s plan would stand. Jeremiah encouraged them that God’s plans would always be good.
This verse is also for us. We cannot see the future, but God promises that God has a future and hope for each one of us. God sees our tomorrow before it becomes our today. He sees the beginning and the end of our lives, and He sees everything in between.
God wants you to know He has a plan and purpose for you. He has good things in store for your future. You just need to choose to believe that. When you start believing that, then you begin to realize that God has called you to something. As you walk daily in your relationship with God, He will begin to reveal His purpose to you.
So today, choose to believe that God loves you and that His purpose for your life is good!
Prayer
Dear God, guide and lead each step of my journey and days with full trust in You till I reach the purposes of my life. Amen.
