Say this together: Jesus is there to help you through. He’s been through some hard times, too.

When Jesus was suffering on the cross, He didn’t give up. He knew the suffering was worth it because joy was coming: He came back to life, forgave our sins, and now we can be friends forever with Him! Suffering couldn’t stop Jesus from obeying God, loving people, and serving the whole world. 

We can follow Jesus’ example. When you face hard times, remember the hope and joy you have because of Jesus: When we follow Jesus, we are His friends. One day, evil will be gone and we will be with Jesus forever. Until then, don’t give up, spend time with Jesus, and keep sharing His love.
