DAY 6 OF 13

A Hymn of Love

Isaiah 12:5

"Sing to the Lord, for He has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world."

This whole verse is a hymn of love to God. It praises God’s unfailing forgiveness. Though God hates our sins, He personally came to earth to become our salvation. You and I deserve His punishment. However, instead of giving us the punishment, Jesus took all our punishment and gave us eternal life.

Not only does He save us, He also becomes our strength in life. There are many things He has done in our life from the moment we were born to this world, to the day when we attended our first day in primary one, the moments when we were having difficulties in our exams and tests, the moments when we felt pressurized with the upcoming exam results, the moment we had arguments with our best friends and in every other moment of our life. No matter how scary or bad our situations are, God ultimately becomes our source of strength.

It is only right that when someone has done so many great things for us, that we show our thankfulness and appreciation. One of the ways is by giving Him our most sincere hymns of love. Let’s proclaim His goodness.

Prayer

Dear God, I sing to You Lord a hymn of love and praise for You are too good and wonderful to me. Amen.
