What would happen if we actually understood our purpose? If we knew why we’re here on the earth, we wouldn’t need to sit watching something or someone else, wishing our lives were different.
Why? Because we would be so happy with what God has made us to be. We would live every day with hope for the future!
We have to understand that God is the source of our purpose in this life. He alone can quench that thirst. He Himself is the river of living water. He quenches our barrenness, our dryness, our parchedness, our hopelessness, our despondency.
When we live with this revelation, we'll stop trying to get from other things what we can only get from Jesus – real fulfillment.
