Every Victory In Our Life Is Through the Victory That Jesus Won

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

- 1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV

Many times, we try to live in victory through our efforts. We try to read the Word for a certain amount of time, confess the Word a certain number of times, to win something we already have. 

Do we need to study the Word? Yes!

Do we need to confess the Word? Yes!

However, studying and confessing the Word are not what gives you the victory. It is all—and only —because of what Jesus our Lord and Savior DID for us. God gave us the victory THROUGH our Lord Jesus Christ.

Studying the Word builds your faith so that you can walk in the victory THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE. It does not give you the victory.

Confessing the Word activates the mountain-moving faith that you have on the inside of you. Speaking the Word is how you claim the promises that God gave you. Confession does NOT give you the victory that you already have. 

God gave you the victory THROUGH CHRIST! There is nothing left for you to do except walk in what rightfully belongs to you.

Will there be hurdles? Yes! Will there be obstacles? Of course. 

You have an enemy that is trying to get you to walk away from what is rightfully yours. You have a mind that you must renew to the Word of God continually. And you also have a flesh that wants to be satisfied NOW and resists doing things God’s way. 

But that’s why God gave you the victory THROUGH CHRIST, and not through your effort and strength. Christ, Who lives in you, is stronger than the enemy, your mind, and your flesh. 

You have the victory! Christ won it for you.
