Day Three 

Everything’s a Gift - We choose to focus on how great God is.  We always celebrate and practice thankfulness for everything in our lives, and for the people around us.  

READ:

Hannah’s Prayer in 1 Samuel 1:1-20 (ICB)

Hannah explained to Eli, the priest, that she was ‘crying out to the Lord’ because she wanted God to answer her prayer. 

Hannah never gave up praying for a baby boy. 

ASK:

Remember yesterday we looked at HSPE prayers?  Humble, Specific, Persistent, Expectant prayers. 

Can you write down some of your HSPE prayers? Maybe you could make a poster to help you remember?

Humble - what are you thanking God for today? 

Specific - what is it that you would like God to help you with today? 

Persistent - what can you do to make sure you pray every day and never give up praying? 

Expectant - how can we grow our faith and be sure that we believe that God is who He says He is?
