The Greatest News (Week 4) Sample

Day One 

The Birth of Jesus - the greatest gift God has given humanity, besides salvation, is His only Son! Welcome to our Christmas Devotional. As you journey together through the wonder of God’s amazing plan and provision, we pray that you have fun, whilst discovering more about God’s heart for everyone. We pray that every truth you learn through this plan will be remembered and carried with you through life, as you journey with and always follow Jesus.

‘The Bright Stars and the Three Visitors’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 286-290) or in Matthew 2:1-12.

When baby Jesus was born, God put a bright star in the sky. 

God is the creator of the whole universe. He’s so powerful, He can even put stars in the sky! 

When we look at nature (like the seas, mountains and animals), we can see parts of who our God is.

ASK:

What is your favourite part of God’s creation? 

REMEMBER:

But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! (Luke 2:10 TPT)

SAY:

Thank you God that you sent your Son, 

Help us to remember whilst we have fun. 

Give us the courage to share the Greatest news,

With Everyone, Everywhere, that all may hear,                             

As we shout it from the rooftops, loud and clear!
