I’ve Got News for You

DAY 4 OF 5

This season has been long, and full of uncertainty and fear. We are in a global pandemic experiencing challenges unlike any many of us have ever encountered before.

When faced with these new challenges, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, afraid, and unsure of what to do next. In these moments, we can choose to fix our eyes heavenward and worship God. King Jehoshaphat chose to worship God in the midst of his own battle, thanking God for the victory that hadn’t happened yet. Jehoshaphat chose to respond to what God was going to do, even if he hadn’t seen the result yet. He knew that his God would deliver him a victory.

Maybe in this season you are feeling discouraged by all of the things you have to do, or maybe you are feeling paralyzed by fear of the future. In everything we can remember that our God is good. No battle or pandemic is too big for him, and he will deliver us a victory. When we are unsure of what to do next, we can worship God and praise him for the victory that we don’t see right now, but that he has in store for us.

Questions:

What struggles are currently making you feel anxious and overwhelmed? Take a moment to worship God in the midst of your season. Thank him for the victory that he will bring to your situation.
