Connect Young Adult Fall 2020Sample

This first week we are looking at an introduction to Revelation.  It is a return to the start.  What God intended for us in Genesis (and was destroyed by sin) is realized again as God moves back in the neighborhood.  Throughout scripture this idea of God - as majestic as He is - comes to us and reclaims His rightful place at the center of it all.  Like a battery put back in the toy, all creation lights up again and does what it was intended to do.

No death, no decay, no separation anymore.  Immanuel - God with us.

Take a look this week at all the references to this first act of creation as well as the majesty of God as He sits on His throne.

Take time each day to do a few things:

1. Pray for God to teach you something.

2. Read the passage.

3. Re-read the passage 2 or three times and take note of what jumps out at you.

4. Record your thoughts in your journal.

5. Take one idea with you into your day - repeating it to yourself as you pray for and enter your day.
