DAY 3 OF 5

Remember the Lord

”But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for, “Remember” is, ‘zakar’ (H2142), which means, “To recall, call to mind, to be brought to remembrance, to be remembered, to be thought of, to be brought to mind, to keep in remembrance, to mention, to record, to make a memorial.”

Choose to record in your mind every success and victory that God has caused you to win. Choose to memorialize every triumph that God has caused you to win and overcome. Choose to recall every success that God has caused you to win. Bring back to mind every success that God has led you to win.

It is God who gives you the power to win. It is God who gives you the power to overcome. It is God who gives you the power to get wealth. It is God who gives you the power to produce. It is God who prepares the platform and sets the table before you in the presence of your enemies. It is God who promotes. It is God who sets the stage. It is God who advances. It is God who enlarges. It is God who gives you the victory.

The skills, talents, gifts, and abilities that God has placed in you all belong to Him. Don’t waste your gift. Don’t waste your talent. Use them all to glorify Christ. Choose to remember God. Choose to remember that it is He who has given you the victory.

Deuteronomy 28:1 KJV declares, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.” Let Christ set you high above all the nations of the Earth. Choose to obey Him. Choose to cast your crown and surrender to Christ.
