Thou Art Worthy 

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power, for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11 KJV

Only Christ is worthy to receive all glory, honor, and power. It is Christ who is to be worshipped. It is Christ who is to be exalted. It is Christ that we adore. We are not to worship or exalt our gifts, talents, abilities, and skills. We are to worship and honor Him through our gifts. We are to bow to Him. We are to worship Christ alone. For He has created all things, and all things were created for His pleasure.

You were created to give God glory. Your gifts, talents, abilities, and skills were placed in you to bring Him glory and honor. Revelation 4:11 AMPC declares, “Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were [brought into being] and were created.” By His will everything was brought into being. Everything that exists, exist because He allows it to. Thrones and dominions, kings and kingdoms, people, positions, places, and platforms all exist because of Christ.

Revelation 4:11 NIV declares, “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” All things have their being because of Christ. Everything submits to Christ, both in Heaven and in Earth. 

Choose to submit your skills, gifts, talents, and abilities over to Him. Our gifts, talents, abilities, and skills all come from Him. He is the only One worthy to receive all glory, honor, dominion, and power. Let everything in you submit to Him. Let everything underneath your authority submit to Him. Christ the King will forever rule, reign, and have dominion. You were created to give Him glory. Don’t worship your gifts. Don’t worship your talents. Choose to worship Christ.
