We’re going to make a bold statement: The greatest parts of YTHX have never been the games and battles, although those are some of our all-time favorite memories. Our world was robbed of rituals this year. Rituals like graduations, proms, and birthday parties were stripped away from us, almost overnight. But what was left was an opportunity — a holy invitation to lean in and look deeper at the things we couldn’t see before. 

Sometimes when the lights fade, what matters is actually illuminated. 

Sometimes when we’re forced into a new normal, old habits can get left behind. 

Sometimes when we find ourselves in a place that feels unnatural, we finally look to God to do the supernatural. 

Perhaps God is forcing us into something new because He wants us to experience something new — both individually and collectively. 

The best parts of YTHX can’t be seen because they don’t happen on a stage — they happen in your spirit. 

And YTHX2020 isn’t confined to a livestream. It isn’t even confined to the year 2020. The greatest sermon preached during our summer event will be the life you live when it’s over.
