Jesus | Jesus Is a Person

Have you ever wondered if God in heaven can relate to you on earth? The truth is God became a man, Jesus, so that you could know that He does relate to you. For 33 years Jesus walked the earth and experienced the same temptations, challenges, joys and sorrows that you experience. This is why He knows and understands exactly how you feel.

But why did Jesus come to earth and become a man? He didn’t do it for Himself. He did it for us. He did it to show us love in its purest form. Jesus wants ordinary, everyday people to know that He relates to them just like He related to His disciples. They were ordinary men—fishermen, common laborers and tax collectors—who by God’s power brought the transforming Gospel to a world in need. Jesus wants you to know that even an ordinary person can change the world.

Jesus walked where you’re walking. He understood the joys and pains of relationships. He experienced acceptance and rejection. He felt physical pain as well as emotional pain. He even felt the pain of being betrayed by a loved one. He wants to meet you right where you are, because He’s been there. He understands, and He cares. Will you come to Him with your hurts, struggles and fears? Will you come to Him as your friend?
