GO2020 | ENGAGE: March Week 3 - CARESample

March—Care
Week Three: Who Needs Our Care?
March 15
Human need comes in many different forms—from a stranger asking for directions to a loved one in desperate need of healing. Our care for them can be physical, but often it is care for the soul, such as being present with a friend experiencing heartbreak. A hurting world calls for people who care. In Scripture we discover various folks who need the care of the followers of Jesus. Often these are the people who are most easily forgotten or avoided. We have the opportunity to help bring physical and emotional healing along with eternal hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
Memorize
Read this week’s memory verse, James 1:27. You’ll be working on memorizing this verse throughout the week. Today, simply read it and rest.
