Jesus is in the darkest hours of His life. His soul is heavy, the burden He has to bear as the Lamb of God is almost unbearable. He flees into prayer, throws Himself to the ground and asks His Father to choose another way. With Him, He takes His closest disciples who are also probably His best friends. He wants them to help Him carry this burden in prayer. But the disciples fall asleep. How frustrating must that be? Jesus is all alone! Nevertheless, He continues on His path to the end.
This is precisely the difference between Jesus and you and me. Fighting our battles alone? No way! We need each other! We are not Jesus! Who fights with you in prayer? Who fights with you in the battles of your life? Where are your prayer partners? Who is able and willing to watch with you for an hour?
ACTION STEP:
Find a prayer partner who fights the battles in life with you. Especially during these 40 days. Alone you will fail, but as a team so much is possible!

About this Plan
The Lamb of God dies in Jerusalem, on a cross. Three days later He rose from the dead - sin and death are overcome. Two thousand years later, His blood sets me free. During the weeks before Easter, we want to acquire a deeper understanding of this fundamental event of our faith, get to know Jesus better and experience how His loving deed on the cross changes our lives forever.
