In the ancient times the horse was an important instrument in battle because of its speed and power to help people to win the battle. No wonder people relied on horses.
This verse talks about how people try to prepare everything to be able to enjoy the victory but at the end the victory is determined by God. This means man can try to prepare, arrange, and try his best, but at the end God should be the source of our success.
Let us always rely on God, asking for His help in our work, school, and every aspect of our life. In His time, God will surely give us victory. And when the success is in our hand, do not forget that God is the one who brings it to pass.
Man can try to prepare, arrange, and try to do his best, but success is in the hand of God.
