River Valley Church SOAP -Part 1Sample

Paul wrote this letter to the Corinthian church he helped establish while living in Corinth. He has heard that they are plagued with many inconsistencies in how they are living apart from what they were taught while he was with them. Paul is addressing some divisions that are going on through other teachers that have come to Corinth. He address sexual immorality and how as a Christian, we are to keep ourselves pure. Many Christians are suggesting that they are free to live however they want because of grace. He also talks about food offered to idols and how we should interact with it as believers.
About this Plan

SOAP is the daily devotional plan at River Valley Church. SOAP is a simple process that includes reading a selected passage of Scripture, writing down an Observation or two, committing to an Application, and engaging in Prayer. This is a 12 part devotional plan throughout the entire year and we recommend starting with part 1.
