Love God Greatly - GalatiansSample

Love God Greatly - Galatians

DAY 23 OF 40

Paul describes how God sent His Son, fully God and fully man, at the precise time to free people from the bondage of sin. All believers in Jesus receive the Holy Spirit who confirms the adoption as God’s child. Do you view the Lord as your Father? Have you allowed your experience with your human parent to warp or cloud your view of your heavenly Father? Father God, You pour Your love out into my life so freely in ways I can’t comprehend and that are hard for me to accept. My mind, Lord, has difficulty wrapping around the fact that You love me as Your daughter. I - and others - are fatherless on earth. My heart, Lord, struggles to accept the overflow of love that pours out into my life over and over. I have never experienced love without conditions on earth. My soul, Lord, grapples with the fact that even when I fail, Your love for me never changes, because I am faced daily with the negative consequences of failure here on earth. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Your love...for demonstrating to me a supernatural love which is not limited by time, space, or circumstances. I thank You that Your love never fails. It never gives up. It never runs out on me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Love God Greatly - Galatians

We are going to experience Paul’s exhortation to the young Christians in Galatia (also meant for us) telling them that all that is necessary – all they need – is the gospel… the good news. Tim Keller says, “The gospel – the message that we are more wicked than we ever dared believe, but more loved and accepted in Christ than we ever dared hope – creates a radical new dynamic for personal growth, for obedience, for love.” And that makes our hearts sing! Galatians summarizes the gospel and what it means to our hearts. This, friends, is life changing.
