The Lord Is Good To Those Who Wait For Him
One of my favorite scriptures I have taped to the wall in my music room, encouraging me to see it everyday is, Habakkuk 2:3(ESV):
“For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay."
I love the promise here. Everything has a season, and there is a season for everything. No amount of worry, stress, talking about it, not talking about it, trying too hard, or doubt will stop something God has appointed.
In the waiting I find so much more than what I was asking for. I find God’s wisdom and peace available to me. And when I have had a hard day and nothing seems to be as it should, I find new mercies in the morning.
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him.
