“So Ahab went to eat and drink. But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees.” 1 Kings 18:42 NLT

A healthy prayer life is the key to hearing the Voice of God clearly. He wants a relationship with you — He desires to commune with you. Take time to pray. Before you make the next move — wait to be led by God. A premature move is just as costly as disobedience. Let God direct your steps. 

The Bible states, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalms 37:23 KJV. The Amplified version expounds on this scripture in this manner and states, “The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].” Psalm 37:23 AMPC. When your steps are directed by God, He will guide your path to good success. When your steps are properly placed and ordered by God, He will establish your going out and your coming in, causing you to excel in every area of your life (Deuteronomy 28:6). Meditate upon His Word. Dwell upon His Word and allow God to direct your path. Decide to pray daily and focus on God’s Word to chart your course. 

As you pray, God will unlock His strategy. He will give you His plan on how to attack and when to attack. Your prayer life is directly correlated to your success or failure. You can choose to pray and excel, or you can worry and shipwreck your house. Prayerfully consider your next steps. Submit your goals to God. Goals are not gods. 

Let God lead your dreams and your aspirations, and your future will reflect His Heart. Let God roll out His plan for your life. Choose not to stray away. When you follow His Word, your house will not shipwreck. You will not fail. Trust God and follow His Plan and you will succeed. 

Let God resurrect your dead dreams — His timing is Perfect. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 KJV
