Think about a time a friend shared something you needed with you. Maybe you forgot your lunch and a friend gave you half of theirs. Or maybe you left your bat or glove at home before practice so a friend tossed you one of their extras.
When you first realized you were missing something, you probably felt pretty lousy. But when someone stepped in and shared what they had? Game changer! God wants us to not only be on the receiving end of those kinds of good deeds; He wants us to be the ones to share generously with others as well. Who can you be generous with today? Maybe it’s a sibling who’s been eyeing your new shirt or a friend who simply needs your time.
Ask God how you can give generously to someone in your life who needs it this week.
