LEVITICUS 5-6:
Yesterday we read about sacrifices given for unintentional sins and for peace offerings. And today we’ll hear about offerings for intentional sins.

PSALM 12:
In Psalm 12, we hear of trusting in God's promises even in the midst of hard times.

LUKE 9a:
Yesterday to the woman healed of bleeding, Jesus said, “It is because you believe in me that you are healed.” And to Jairus, He said, “ Don’t be afraid. Just keep on believing in Me.”

Let me start us out in prayer today:
Oh Lord our God, and our Lord Christ Jesus: We trust in You for safety. There are people who are crying out all around us, “There’s nothing a good person can do in this situation. Everything is falling apart!” But You our God are in your holy temple in heaven and on your throne. You keep watch over us and You give us peace. So when the wind and waves are all about us, you say to us, “What happened to the idea of your trusting Me?” You said to the woman who was healed, “You have been healed because you believe in me.” And to Jairus you said, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe.” Lord we put our lives into your hands today. We fully believe in You. You will take care of us, in the cares and situations, and whatever danger might be in our path. Thank You that You are with us. You said to the man named Mob, “Go back home and tell what God has done for you.” And may we today follow that man’s example in telling what You’ve done for us.
