Sometimes the rules we have to follow can seem overwhelming. Don’t do this. Stay away from that. Don’t say this. Don’t act like that. When you think about it that way, following God can seem difficult to actually live out. After all, no one is perfect! How can we ever follow all those rules? Fortunately for us, God didn’t ask us to focus on all the dos and don’ts of life. Instead, He called us to focus simply on loving Him and loving others. When we think of it this way, it feels a lot less overwhelming, doesn’t it? What’s one thing you can do to love God this week? What about love someone else? Focus on living out those things as a way to follow God’s will for your life.
