Searching for Jesus

No matter what stage of life you are in or what kind of difficulty you face, it is always most important to remember this one thing - search for Jesus!  

God is never far from any of us and the Bible promises that He will be found by those who search for Him.  

We are about to read the story again from verse 1 so that we can refresh our memory on how this starts but also to keep building on the day before. Take note of the verses that jump out at you because these are different for everyone and usually relate to what God is trying to say to you.  

Here is a verse that should jump out as you read the story form the beginning again ina moment.  

When Jesus was still some distance away, the man saw him, ran to meet him, and bowed low before him. Mark 5:6 NLT 

The man was filled with demons. He was out of control. Everybody was afraid of him and nobody seemed to be able to help him. Yet, even in this extreme state, the man saw Jesus from a distance and ran to Him and bowed low before Him.  

No matter how hard your days or weeks are, have a commitment to search for Jesus. Regardless of how ugly the life storms get, just believe that Jesus is on His way toward you. Expect to see Jesus somewhere, anywhere.

2. Is Jesus trying to help me through somebody I am not responding to?
