Joseph’s Brothers Go to Egypt

Then he remembered his dreams about them and said to them, “You are spies! You have come to see where our land is unprotected.” “No, my lord,” they answered. “Your servants have come to buy food.” (Genesis 42:9-10)

In the end, Joseph witnessed the dreams he received in his youth turned into reality, although the process to get to this point was not pleasant at all. As a human being, anybody would expect Joseph to retaliate against his brothers. But was that really God’s intention when He gave the task to Joseph? Had Joseph chosen to ignore God’s bigger plan and instead focused on the sufferings he endured for many years, he would have failed to complete and lived God’s plan with joy.
