Read To Hear : Book Of GenesisSample

Jacob goes to Egypt
When Pharaoh calls you in and asks, ‘What is your occupation?’ you should answer, ‘Your servants have tended livestock from our boyhood on, just as our fathers did.’ Then you will be allowed to settle in the region of Goshen, for all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians.” (Genesis 46:33-34)
Before facing Pharaoh, Joseph had carefully prepared and considered everything he was going to say about his family. Even though he was the second person in command in the country, he refused to abuse his power for personal gains. On the contrary, he continued to plan his actions carefully and with wisdom to allow God’s plan to be done optimally through his life.
