Esau’s Descendants  

Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan, and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob. Their possessions were too great for them to remain together; the land where they were staying could not support them both because of their livestock. (Genesis 36:6-7)

All the things that God commanded them to do were obeyed by Jacob and Esau, and they were remarkably blessed by God. When Jacob returned and his relationship with his brother Esau was restored, God blessed them to the point that the place where they lived could not support the possession and livestock they both owned. Esau even had to move to another place. While God gave His promise of blessings to Jacob when he left his place of birth while carrying a feud with his brother Esau, it was only fulfilled once Jacob and Esau were reunited. God will command his blessings to come to us when we live in unity.
