Like a BossSample

LIVE // Have you ever done something wrong and then lived with that sinking feeling you’d get caught? Maybe you lied to your parents, or maybe you cheated on a test. The fear and guilt that follows is awful, and never worth whatever it was we were trying to accomplish in the first place. On the other hand, Paul reminds us what it’s like when we choose to do the right thing and the honor that comes along with it. God always wants what’s best for you, and He knows obeying authority is really for your benefit. So, the next time you are tempted to do something you know you shouldn’t, remember that God wants you to live without fear or guilt. Aim to make the choice to do what is right. You’ll be glad you did!

About this Plan

Let’s be honest: Nobody likes being told what to do and nobody wants to be bossed around. In this reading plan, we’ll take a look at how we can all begin to honor and respect the authority in our lives, even when it’s hard! As we do, we’ll discover that life’s better when we learn to handle authority like a boss.
