Love and respect truly do go hand in hand. One of the best ways to love someone is to show them a little respect. Because when you show someone respect, you’re also showing them they are important to you. You’re letting them know they have value in your life. And when we realize what respect means to the people around us, we can begin to truly love them by finding ways to show them the respect they need and deserve. Ask a parent, adult, or Small Group Leader in your life what they think it looks like for you to show them respect. Then, make an effort to do one of those things this week as you interact with them in order to show them that you care.
