Day #1 – Talking About The Bible While You Walk
Did you know there is a verse in the Bible that actually tells us to talk about God’s Word when we walk, when we sit around the house, when we are going to bed, and when we get up in the morning?
God’s Word must be of extreme importance if we are supposed to talk about it that much.
One way we can apply part of this verse, is by looking at some key Bible verses and talking about them with your family while going on a walk.
Go ahead and grab your walking shoes and a family member and get some physical activity and spiritual refreshment!
Pull up the plan from your smart phone, introduce the topic, ask questions and let everyone share their answers, without interruption or judgment.
This is an excellent way to get to know your family better in a nonconventional manner, learn more about their thoughts on certain topics, and discover potential needs that you may be able to help meet.
The most important thing is to “make it your own” and have fun!
This plan is also adaptable for those individuals who would like to walk and spend time in God’s Word simultaneously when other family members are unavailable. If you are alone, you can go through the questions and think through your responses as well.
