PRAY: Lord, I thank you for the gift of music as the language of the soul, because it is the most joyous way to worship You. I thank you for all kinds of music and how each different kind touches my heart in a unique way. I thank you for the gift of singing jubilant songs, and the joy of clapping our hands. You say even the rivers clap their hands and the mountains sing together for joy. Oh Lord, let the whole world sing in worship to You.

REFLECT: Reflect on what music means to you. How does it effect your every day life? Have you ever thanked God for the musicians who perform the music you love? Have you prayed for them and asked the Lord to fill their hearts with love and worship for you? As professional musicians offer the world their gift of music, can you clap your hands for them and ask the Lord to fill them with His joy?  

ACT:  Choose three musicians or music groups who have impacted your life with their songs. Would you commit to pray for them as you thank the Lord for them? If they aren't believers, pray for the Lord to come into their lives and transform them into people of worship. As you worship the Lord today, lift up the music professionals around the world and ask for them to have an encounter with the God of the Universe who created the joyful gift of music. The music business is offering God's music as a gift to people across the globe and so when you pray for the artists, you are also impacting the globe.
