You’ve spent the last 4 days learning what it means to be a new creation, to understand God’s command to share the Gospel and to think about your calling and your commissioning as an ambassador for Christ.  Now, it’s time to consider where all this takes place.  When Jesus told the disciples they would be witnesses first in Jerusalem he didn’t mean for every believer throughout history to start in Jerusalem. He meant for people to start sharing the Gospel in the places closest to them.  

For you, that will be your school campus. Your middle and high school campus is the place where you spend the majority of your time.  That means your campus is the best place for you to live out your calling to be an ambassador for Christ.  When you set the example of living a life of faith, purity, and love, you display for your peers a picture of the life God calls all of us to live.  Don’t let the fact that you are a middle or high school student keep you from living a life of significance and purpose.  You are not at your school by accident.  God knew before your birth where you would be at this very moment in time and has prepared your campus to be your mission field.  

There are many ways to get involved.  Find or start a bible study that meets before or after school, or find a few other students to meet during lunch and pray for your campus.  Look for teachers and school administrators who need help and offer to serve them in Jesus’ name.  You don’t have to stand up and preach a sermon in the middle of math class, simply let your good deeds and your love for Christ be so apparent in how you live people can’t help but wonder what is different about you.  Remember, this is your mission.  To be an ambassador of Christ is a lifestyle, it is a choice to daily choose Jesus’ calling for your life.
