Day 4: Leading and Being Led
Reflection:
Paul called Titus his “true son in our common faith.” This reminds us that leaders are both guides and learners. Titus led the church in Crete, but he was also under Paul’s mentorship. Leadership is never independent—it is relational and accountable.
Strong leaders know how to lead, but they also remain teachable and open to being led. God designed leadership as a chain of discipleship, where wisdom and faith are passed down from one generation to the next. Healthy leaders embrace both roles: guiding others while also being guided.
5 Reflection Questions:
- What does Paul’s relationship with Titus teach about leadership?
- Why is it important for leaders to have mentors?
- How does being teachable strengthen a leader’s influence?
- In what ways do you lead others? In what ways are you being led?
- What dangers come when leaders refuse accountability?
Application Question:
👉 Who is speaking into your leadership journey, and who are you intentionally leading?
Prayer Prompt:
“Lord, keep me humble and teachable. Help me to lead others faithfully, while also being willing to be led.”
