For the music director, “Do Not Destroy,” a Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul, in the cave.

I will praise You, my Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to You among the nations.

Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, for in You my soul takes refuge. In the shadow of Your wings I take refuge, until destruction passes by.

For Your lovingkindness is great up to the heavens, and Your truth to the skies.
