But when he saw the strength of the wind,  he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me! ” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt? ”

Immediately Jesus spoke to them. “Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter answered him, “command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” And climbing out of the boat, Peter started walking on the water and came toward Jesus.

Then those in the boat worshiped him and said, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

“They don’t need to go away,” Jesus told them. “You give them something to eat.” “But we only have five loaves and two fish here,” they said to him.

“Bring them here to me,” he said. Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

Everyone ate and was satisfied. They picked up twelve baskets full of leftover pieces.
