Joseph answered the king, “I am not able to explain the meaning of dreams. God will do this for the king.”

And the king asked them, “Can we find a better man than Joseph to take this job? God’s spirit is truly in him!”

So the king said to Joseph, “God has shown you all this. There is no one as wise and understanding as you are. I will put you in charge of my palace. All the people will obey your orders. Only I will be greater than you.”

Joseph named the second son Ephraim. Joseph said, “God has given me children in the land of my troubles.”

Joseph named the first son Manasseh. Joseph said, “God has made me forget all the troubles I have had and all my father’s family.”
