Send Out Your Light and Your Truth

1 # Ps. 7:8; 26:1 Vindicate me, O God, and #See 1 Sam. 24:15defend my cause

against an ungodly people,

from #Ps. 5:6the deceitful and unjust man

deliver me!

2For you are #Ps. 31:4the God in whom I take refuge;

why have you #See Ps. 44:9rejected me?

Why do I #Ps. 42:9go about mourning

because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 # Ps. 40:11; 57:3 Send out your light and your truth;

let them lead me;

let them bring me to your #See Ps. 2:6; 46:4holy hill

and to your #Ps. 84:1dwelling!

4Then I will go to the altar of God,

to God my exceeding joy,

and I will praise you with the lyre,

O God, my God.

5 # See Ps. 42:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul,

and why are you in turmoil within me?

# Ps. 42:5, 11 Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,

my salvation and my God.
