When You Feel Insecure | Psalm 139
Life is full of emotions—anger, gratitude, shame, awe, and more. Where do you turn when these feelings overwhelm you? Who can handle the weight of your struggles? In this series in the Psalms, we'll discover how to process our emotions through the highs and lows of life and with faith and trust in Him to bring every emotion to God.

We all want to be known.
How do we worship when we feel insecure?
“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is a lot like being loved by God.” —Timothy Keller.
God came looking for them anyway. God is still doing that today.
INSIGHT FOR OUR INSECURITY:
1. God knows you COMPLETELY.
2. God is with you ALWAYS.
“We may feel lost at times, but we are never lost to God.” —Corrie Ten Boom.
3. God made you ON PURPOSE.
“God knew what He was doing when He made you. There is no one else like you, and that’s exactly how He intended it.” —Louie Giglio.
APPLICATION:
-Feel insecure? Write down Scripture about your identity and speak it over your life.
-Feel unseen or forgotten? Journal what you feel like no one sees or understands. Write at the top of the page: God sees this!
-Running from God? Take an area of your life you’ve been hiding from God and bring it into the light.
You are COMPLETELY known, ALWAYS loved, and designed ON PURPOSE by the God of the universe.
We would approach God with boldness, walk in confidence, and love others with grace.
