Preparing for OutpouringSample

Be My Witnesses
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave His followers one last charge—not a detailed plan, but a powerful promise: You will receive power… and you will be My witnesses. He didn’t say, “Try harder.” He said, “You’ll receive something that will make it possible.” A witness simply shares what they’ve seen and heard—something real, something personal. That’s what Jesus invited His followers to do: to tell His story through their own lives. He didn’t choose the flawless. He chose ordinary people with doubts and pasts. And He still does. The Holy Spirit gives courage, clarity, and love to help us live and speak in ways that reveal Jesus—starting right where we are.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, Thank You for entrusting us with the privilege of bearing witness to Your truth and grace. We humbly ask that You fill us afresh with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Grant us boldness to speak, wisdom to live with integrity, and love that reflects Your heart. May our lives point others to You—in our homes, our communities, and to the ends of the earth. Amen.
Reflection:
- Where has God placed me that might be my “Jerusalem”—the place to begin living as His witness?
- What part of my story could I share with someone that points to the goodness of Jesus?

About this Plan

Welcome to Preparing for Outpouring – A 10-Day Journey Toward Pentecost. No matter where you are in your faith—seasoned believer or just beginning to explore—this journey is for you. Each day offers space to slow down, reflect, and make room for the Holy Spirit. Scripture says Jesus gives “the Spirit without limit” (John 3:34), and He’s still pouring out His presence on all who are willing to receive.
