Preparing for OutpouringSample

The Outpouring of the Spirit
Pentecost came suddenly—but not without preparation. After ten days of waiting, praying, and uniting their hearts, the disciples were filled with the promised Holy Spirit. Wind, fire, and uncontainable praise marked the moment—but more than that, God Himself came to dwell within His people. The Spirit didn’t come as a distant force but as a personal presence—filling each one. No one was left out. From that moment on, ordinary people became carriers of divine power and messengers of a transforming gospel. Pentecost wasn’t the end of the story. It was the beginning. And the same Spirit who filled the room that day is still being poured out on all who are open to receive. We don’t earn the Spirit. We simply make room—and say yes.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, we welcome You. Thank You for coming with power and presence, for filling hearts and transforming lives. As You filled the disciples at Pentecost, fill us today. Let Your fire purify us, and Your wind move us into bold obedience. May our lives reflect Your glory and carry Your love to the world. Come, Holy Spirit. We are Yours. Amen.
Reflection:
1) How have I experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit during these 10 days?
2) What might it look like for me to live as someone “filled” going forward?
