Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
17 # Rom. 3:31 “Do not think that I have come to abolish # ch. 7:12 the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but # [Rom. 10:4; 13:8; Gal. 3:24] to fulfill them. 18For truly, I say to you, #Luke 16:17; [ch. 24:35]until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19#[1 Cor. 3:12-15] Therefore whoever relaxes #[Gal. 3:10; James 2:10] one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least #ch. 11:11; 18:1-4in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great #ch. 11:11; 18:1-4in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds #[Rom. 10:3; Phil. 3:9] that of the scribes and Pharisees, you #John 3:5will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Anger
