Welcome to the “Field Guide” Module for the Old Testament. We want to make sure you are well prepared before you start down the path of a deeper engagement with God’s Word. This module will provide a great framework for your journey through the Old Testament as we explore the Bible’s geographical, historical, cultural and religious contexts.

Join us as we uncover the power of entering into God's presence each day by studying the Leviticus Psalms. The Psalms are actually five books in one. Each section of the Psalms connects to one of the first five books of Scripture and holds something special for us. Join us for this study of Psalm 73-89 as we learn to bring all of life into God's presence.

What began as a victorious return to the land in Joshua ends in destruction, defeat, and exile in 2 Kings. The idolatry and sinfulness of Israel and Judah lead to their expulsion from the land - a final ignominy in a long history of unfaithfulness. Yet even in exile, God was preserving his people and the line of David for a future coming King, whose reign would know no end.
