There has been a lot of attention on the term justice right now, and rightfully so. Justice is critical for a society to thrive. But many people dismiss justice because they don’t know what it means. However, there is a correct view of justice that seeks to protect individual liberty and promote individual responsibility. In this 4-day reading plan, Dr. Tony Evans will examine authentic biblical justice.

There are three great loves at the heart of Christianity: love for God, love for our neighbour and love for the lost. How can we put these loves into action, living out the two greatest commandments and the great commission very practically in our everyday lives?

Look at six biblical principles that shaped Dr. King’s life and motivated him to speak on behalf of African-Americans in the Civil Rights Movement: love, conscience, freedom, justice, perseverance, and hope. You can better understand, live, experience, and ultimately form a community around the unifying principles at the heart of the dream to which Dr. King dedicated his life. God is famous for interrupting people’s brokenness and speaking a new identity into them. Identity is at the heart of what it means to be human. Today, people think they are free to choose their identity, which leads them to put on masks and personas. But the Good News of Christ says that you, in God’s love, can discover what God says about you. You are who the “I Am” says you are. And only in the identity your Creator has given you, will you live a life of peace, security, and freedom.
