7yaxy yesγuy hiyruwdus y lliy smuqlen s iṯren g cceḥden ysestnin af lweqt lliy yeḍherred diyes iṯri. 8wembeƹd yenkiyin al biytleḥm yuwayasen: «ureḥeṯ turzum nyeƹdel af afrux aḏ almiy atefem mmeltiḏ bac areḥeγ neči zada assejdeγ.» 9mniyn slen lliy yuwa lmelek reḥḥen af imenesen. yaxy iṯri lliy zrent qebbel mcerreq yeḍherred zzaṯesen yeggur almiy yuṣel al umkan lliy diyes afrux yebbed anjis. 10mniyn zren iṯri freḥḥen ggeṯ. 11ƹeddan al lḥuc ufen afrux yid yedjis meryem. yaxy ssjeḏnes, wembeƹd miren lefniqesen ucennas lhdayeṯ n wureγ aḏ lbxur aḏ lmur. 12wembeƹd zren mam yuwayasen g tirjelt wiḏḏuglec al hiyruwdus. yaxy rewḥen al lbledesen seg abriyḏ iḍen.

13beƹd mag ruḥen lliy smuqlen s iṯren, yeḍherred lmleyka n rebbiy y yuwsef g tirjelt, yuwayas: «kker terruleḏ s wefrux aḏ yedjis al miṣr, teqimeḏ diyes almiy afemleγ rred. rahiy hiyruwdus tayurzu af wefrux bac atyenγ.» 14yaxy yekker yuwsef yiḍ diyn yerwel s wefrux aḏ yedjis al miṣr. 15aḏ yeqqim diyes almiy yemmuṯ hiyruwdus. am ayuh yentem lliy yuwa felles rebbiy af imi n nnabiy lliy yuwa seg lemmi:
«seg miṣr sγuyeγ y memmi.»
16mniyn yefhem hiyruwdus lliy indin lliy smuqlen s iṯren ṯmesxren felles teḍras ggeṯ. yaxy yenkiy mam yenγa imeckenen lliy g biytleḥm aḏ lliy tmas lkul seg lliy lƹemris sen n isuggesen naγ qel af lḥsab n lweqt lliy yeḍherred diyes iṯri mammeḵ uwan lliy smuqlen s iṯren. 17amyuh yentem lliy yuwa felles nnabiy irmiya seg lemmi:
18«ṣeyyeḥ yuli seg rrama:
leƹyeḍ aḏ sgujder d meqqar ggeṯ,
raḥil tetƹeyyeḍ af ṭarwas
witqebbelc ƹezzi afelxaḍert reḥḥen.»

19weqt lliy yemmuṯ lmelek hiyruwdus yeḍherred lmleyka n rebbiy y yuwsef g tirjelt g miṣr, 20yuwayas: «kker teḏḏuleḏ s wefrux aḏ yedjis al tammurt n israyil. rahiy yemmuṯ lliy yexs atyenγ.» 21yaxy yekker yeḏwel s wefrux aḏ yedjis al tammurt n israyil. 22lekenti weqt lliy yesla lliy arxilawus d lmelek af lyehuwdiya beƹd babis hiyruwdus, yugeḏ ayreḥ al dinet, aḏ yusesd lweḥy g tirjelt: «barra al leḍraf n ljeliyl.» 23yaxy yuṣel al lḥumeṯ ismis nnaṣira. yesken diyes. amyuh yentem lliy uwant lenbiya seg lemmi.
«rahiy tatsemmen d nnaṣiriy.»
